Palawan: Freakin' Unbelievable

Last week, we went to Palawan for a much-awaited vacation. WARNING: This is my blog so don't expect a lot of sceneries since most, if not all of the pictures below, are all about ME. :D

We stayed at Dangkalan Resort, a 20-minute drive from the airport.

June 1, 2011

This would have to be the worst and best day of my life.

The worst part:

My friend told me that the deadline for passing the requirements for shifting was yesterday. I panicked and called the College of Arts and Letters at once. They told me to just hurry and they would still accept my papers. This was another reason I wanted to shift to SpeechComm--people from CAL are so nice compared to those from other colleges. I went to the College of Engineering to get my permit to transfer but the people there told me that it was still not ready. I waited until 4PM. They said I would have to come back tomorrow. Once I walked out of the office, I broke down. If this continues, I might not be able to shift. I could not stop crying. The only thing I have ever wanted this badly was to shift and it was like they were trying to take it away from me, so I called the only person who can help me: my Mom.

The best part:

Yes. I want to thank my Mom for making away (just kidding) the people there, and they told her that my permit was ready. So I hurried to CAL and then to OUR. The result:

I am officially (well, not really since I am not enrolled yet) a SpeechComm student after two years of blood and fire and a whole lot of sweat and waste of money. Yey!
